Her best-known role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. At the end of the 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a couple of years. After that, she switched to film and television. Anna was the first to get a major role as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed during the middle 2000's. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn was also on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast titled Numbered Days. The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably similar to the arc that was Walter White's final days of life.
